Description
Mulmul is a soft and fine weave of cotton which is also known as muslin. It is almost around 100 years ago when Bengali weavers first weaved it. Mulmul cotton fabric was one of the prized imports from India to the lands of England and Scotland. Being breathable in nature, the fabric absorbs moisture and keeps you at ease even in scorching heat.
This fabric has been hand dyed, using Azo free dyes.
- Fit: A line with flare
- Features: frilled hem
- Best paired with the Safina top
This fabric has been hand block printed using a large block to create the lines. They were printed twice to create the checked effect. The single blocks for the leaf patterns were printed one at a time. The pattern of the frill blends with the strips. The uniqueness is in the spacing between the two leaves.
